Issue 82 | everything you need for lunar new year!
Wishing you a year of prosperity, health, and good fortune!!!
Cosmos GoFundMe Update: We’re just $3500 away from being fully funded!!
Thank you to every community member who’s contributed to our GoFundMe to keep The Cosmos alive. Without you, we wouldn’t be able to put this Care Package together. We’re just $3500 away from fully funding our work to serve the Asian women community this year!!! Donations are still welcome and needed — make a contribution today so we can reach our goal by end of the week!
Dear Cosmos Community,
Happy Lunar New Year’s Eve! Is that a thing? Well, it is now :)
This issue is dedicated to community celebrations of Lunar New Year!! I wasn’t sure initially how I’d celebrate, but that quickly changed as I put this list together. There’s so much going on! There’s so much we’re creating and making for the community! I hope you find something here that resonates with you :)
Community Events
A huge thank you to community members Eunice and Andrea, who’re donating proceeds from their Lunar New Year community events to our GoFundMe!! RSVP below to support them and our GoFundMe!

Lunar New Year: Gifts & Small Businesses to Support!
Support the Lunar New Year Bag Drive by Heart of Dinner
Heart of Dinner is partnering with a bunch of local small businesses on their bag drive for meals for Asian elders! I can’t think of a better time to make sure elder folks are getting healthy meals with love. Head to any of the small businesses listed below and let them know you’re there to decorate a bag for Heart of Dinner (decorating tips also pictured below!) Heart of Dinner is also looking for Queens-based businesses who want to be part of the bag drive, so reach out to them if you know of any!
Shop at select small businesses in Chinatown and get a *free* WOW Project x Lucky Risograph calendar, while supplies last :)
The Calendar is bilingual!!! It features staple Chinatown businesses for each of the 12 months, re-imaged and illustrated by @bao___haus, @singha.hon, @laura_bot_adventures, and designed by @dyzhou!
To get the calendar for free, spend at least $25 at any of the 12 Chinatown, New York small businesses below :)
